Honest answers
We'd rather tell you the truth up front than over-promise and disappoint. Here are the questions worth asking.
Is this just GPS tracking?
We fit GPS/cellular trackers that report their own location over the mobile network — that's the core of the service, ideal for your high-value portable assets. (Bluetooth tags are an optional add-on for smaller items.) The real difference is that we don't just sell you devices — we fit them, monitor them for you, and give you a live register, last-seen visibility, accountability and alerts.
Can you track every asset everywhere, all the time?
No — and we won't claim that. Trackers report their position on a schedule and when they move, not as a constant live feed. Coverage depends on GPS and mobile signal, so it can be limited underground, inside tunnels, inside metal storage containers, and anywhere without usable signal. What we provide is reliable last-seen visibility and movement history where coverage allows.
What's the difference between a Bluetooth tag and a GPS tracker?
A GPS/cellular tracker reports its own location over the mobile network — it's our main device, and what we fit to your high-value portable assets, with geofence, movement and tamper alerts. A Bluetooth tag is a small, low-power optional add-on for smaller, lower-value items; it's picked up when it comes near a tracker or gateway, giving a last-seen position. We fit the right device to each asset rather than forcing one onto everything.
Will this guarantee we recover stolen assets?
No one can honestly guarantee recovery. What we do is improve accountability, alert you quickly when something is missing, increase the likelihood of recovery, and provide recovery tracking on selected compatible assets.
Do we have to replace our existing equipment or buy a particular brand?
No. We fit trackers to the assets you already own. The service is manufacturer-independent and built around your kit, not tied to a single brand's ecosystem.
Who actually does the work of setting it up?
We do. This is a managed service: we handle asset tagging, gateway deployment, dashboard set-up, onboarding and training, and we provide ongoing support and an escalation process. Your team stays focused on the job.
How do we know it's working?
A pilot captures a clear baseline and measures against agreed success criteria — for example, fewer unaccounted-for assets at shift end, faster identification of missing items, and reduced avoidable replacement purchases. We review the results with you honestly.
What happens to our data?
We design data collection around what the service genuinely needs, apply role-based access, and aim to handle data in line with UK data protection requirements. We don't claim certifications we don't yet hold. See our Security & data page.
How much does it cost?
Because it's a managed service scoped to your assets, sites and vehicles, pricing depends on the deployment. The best starting point is a focused pilot — tell us about your assets and we'll propose a scope and approach.
